SUMMARY: A stunning Solid silver Buren 15 Jewel ICI Imperial Chemical Industries Presentation Wrist Watch from 19547 with ICI presentation inscription for long service of 20 years
The watch recently serviced and overhauled by my watch maker, keeps reasonable time for a 120 year old watch, and watch comes with a two year mechanical warranty.
THE DIAL: 95% mint, satin silver dial with with black Arabic numerals and in bright condition, signed Buren Grand prix, with light patination as shown. The dial with luminsied cathedral type hands. The diameter is 30 mm . The crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with a gilded plate and a regulator, and blued screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with Breguet hairspring and lever escapement. The movement overall of very good quality, with a cut-away plate .The movement a 15 jewelled Buren calibre.
THE CASE: 98% mint, the solid silver case measures an impressive 28 mm width and 34 mm to ends of lugs. The rear covers closes nice and tightly. The case with solid silver hall marks, ALD makers makr and Birminghma stamp. The watch case with inscription

This is a high quality watch, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality. The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case. This is a very fine period watch in simply stunning condition, which is a very rare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.
